The Hook Organ at St. John's Church
| St. John's "Quarter Till" organ recital series, at the Zabriskie Memorial Church of Saint John the Evangelist, was a weekly series of mini organ recitals held at 4:45 p.m. ("quarter till/to five") on Sundays. They featured Bach and other composers, with a live video feed projected onto a screen showing the organist and a close-up view of the organ's inner workings during the music. The church's Hook & Hastings organ was built in 1894, and the console was later rebuilt by J.H. & C.S. Odell. Peter Stoltzfus Berton was the organist and choirmaster at St. John's and led fundraising and restoration efforts for the organ over the years.
