One of 40,606 Vettes built during 1981, "Vete81" specs include: L81 350-cid 5.7L V8, numbers matching, Rochester four-barrel carburetor, HEI electronic ignition, 280 lb-ft of torque, 0-60 @8.1 sec., 3-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, silver metallic, white-letter steel-belted radial tires 255/60R15, Rally wheels, 4-wheel disc brakes, original 8-track stereo radio, glass T-tops, A/C, rear defrost, ground clearance 4.5 in., RI Inspection through summer 2020, daily driver. Vete81 was sold in 2020 to a dealer in the Netherlands who planned on a complete restoration. |
